What is the purpose of your session? Is it a gift for yourself or someone else? What interests you in a boudoir session at this point in your life?

This is a gift to myself and my husband.   I’ve been interested in doing a session for many years, but told myself that I needed to lost weight before doing so.   I’ve told myself that I just needed to do it when ever, no matter my size.  I realize I will always find an excuse and imperfection in myself.  I want to see myself the way my husband sees me.

What was your favorite part of the session?

Being able to get all done up and being told how great I looked

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

It was what I hoped it would be. 

What was the best part of your overall experience so far?

I think being able to see myself in a new light.

What did you think when you saw your images for the first time?

I couldn’t believe that it was me!

Did you find my self love tips and exercise emails helpful? Anything that stuck out to you?

Yes, just being told I’m worth it, I deserve to do something like this for myself

Did you find my session preparation helpful? Anything that stuck out to you or helped you the most?

Any suggestions and ideas were very helpful.  Clothing places to shop also VERY helpful

How nervous were you before you shoot? How did you feel after?

Extremely nervous!  I feel so much more relaxed and confident with the whole experience afterwards.  Before I was also a little embarrassed to tell people what I was doing, but after, I had no shame! 

Do you have any final thoughts, feedback or anything else you’d like to share? 

Thank you for this experience.   It helped me feel better about myself, my body, and my sex appeal.  I know I am not where I want to be physically but this is really a help to push me in the right direction!

I’m going to post this picture again…. I had my shoot a couple weeks ago with Brea, everything about the process was amazing!   Yesterday I got to see my images for the first time!   I was blown away by my images.    Narrowing them down was tough!  I still can’t believe that it’s me in them!   Well on my drive home I was reflecting about my images and a song comes on the radio. “Victorias Secret” by Jax.   As I listen to to the lyrics for the first time, I immediately starting crying.  (Nothing to see here just me sobbing down I94). After seeing my beauty in the images and listening to the words of that song it reminded me that I cannot let others define who I am!  

If you’re on the fence about doing a session, don’t be.  It will be worth it in the end!   Do this for you!
